Google Ads, answered by the assistant you already use
Adsnalytic is an MCP server for Google Ads. You sign in once with Google, paste one address into your assistant's settings, and from then on you ask your questions in the chat window you already have open.
The Google Ads interface shows you everything and tells you nothing. It will report that a campaign spent $4,200 last month. It will not tell you that $1,900 of it went to eleven search terms that have never once converted. That question has an answer sitting in your account — it just takes six reports and a spreadsheet to reach it.
Questions worth asking it
These are not features with names. They are sentences you type, and the assistant works out which reports it needs.
- Which search terms took money last month and returned nothing?
- Show me every keyword above $40 cost per conversion, worst first.
- My CPA doubled in the last fortnight. What changed?
- Which campaigns are pacing over budget with eight days left in the month?
- Is anything in this account still running that has not converted since March?
- Compare this month against the same month last year, by campaign.
What it can read
Everything the Google Ads API exposes for the accounts you put in scope: campaigns, ad groups, keywords, search terms, assets, budgets, conversion actions, and the standard performance metrics against any date range.
Where Google withholds or models something, that is passed on rather than smoothed over. Recent days are unsettled, the current day is partial, some search terms are held back on privacy grounds, and a share of conversions is modelled. A tool that hides those caveats is inventing confidence you do not have.
What it can change, once you confirm
Adding negative keywords, pausing a campaign or an ad group, adjusting a budget, and building a new campaign.
What it will not do
Most of the tools only read. They have no ability to change anything at all.
The ones that do write never fire on their own. Your assistant shows you the exact change and the numbers behind it, you say yes, and only then does it run. A recommendation is not an authorisation — the approval is on the costed preview, not on the argument that came before it.
- New campaigns arrive paused. Nothing serves, and nothing spends, until you switch it on yourself in the platform's own interface.
- Nothing is ever deleted. The strongest action available is a pause.
- No approval token carries over to a different plan. One unit of difference voids it.
- Your figures are read at the moment you ask and passed straight through. There is no database of your campaigns, your spend or your conversions on our side.
Setting it up
Three minutes, once. Sign in with the Google account that has access to the ad accounts, tick which of them are in scope, and paste the address into your assistant. Nothing downloads, nothing installs, nothing touches your machine.
You can revoke it from either side at any time — from your Adsnalytic connections page, or from your Google account's security settings.
Common questions
Does this work on a Google Ads manager account?
Yes, on any account you own or are authorised to manage. Each is connected through Google's own sign-in and you choose which are in scope. Nothing is shared between them.
Can it change my bids?
Budgets yes, through the two-step confirmation. Bid strategies are not in scope, deliberately — they are the setting most likely to do quiet damage over the following fortnight, and the hardest to attribute afterwards.
Will the numbers match what I see in the Google Ads interface?
They come from the same API that feeds it, unaltered. Where the two differ, the interface is authoritative — usually because the range covers days Google has not yet settled.
