Facebook and Instagram ads, without opening Ads Manager

Adsnalytic is an MCP server for Meta Ads. One sign-in with Facebook, one address pasted into your assistant, and your ad account becomes something you can ask questions of.

Meta's particular problem is not missing data — it is that the thing you need to know is spread across three levels. The campaign looks fine. One ad set inside it is carrying the result and another is quietly burning. The creative that worked in week one stopped working in week three, and the only visible symptom is a frequency number nobody was watching.

Questions worth asking it

  • Which ad sets spent over $500 this month and produced nothing?
  • Has any creative fatigued — CTR falling while frequency climbs?
  • Split last month by placement. Is Audience Network earning its share?
  • Which audiences overlap enough that I am bidding against myself?
  • Compare Instagram against Facebook for this campaign, by cost per result.
  • What is my actual cost per purchase once I exclude the retargeting ad sets?

What it can read

Campaigns, ad sets, ads and creatives; audiences and pixels; placements and breakdowns; and performance against any date range, across both Facebook and Instagram.

Meta's attribution window matters more than most people account for, and it is reported rather than glossed. A seven-day-click figure and a one-day-click figure are different claims about the same campaign, and the gap between them is often the whole argument.

What it can change, once you confirm

Pausing an ad set or an ad, adjusting a budget, excluding a placement or an audience, and building a new campaign.

One trap worth naming, because it has cost people real money: Meta's API takes budgets in cents, not in your account currency. A budget written as though it were dollars is a hundredfold error. Every budget in a preview is shown to you in the account's own currency, in the amount that will actually be set.

What it will not do

Most of the tools only read. They have no ability to change anything at all.

The ones that do write never fire on their own. Your assistant shows you the exact change and the numbers behind it, you say yes, and only then does it run. A recommendation is not an authorisation — the approval is on the costed preview, not on the argument that came before it.

  • New campaigns arrive paused. Nothing serves, and nothing spends, until you switch it on yourself in the platform's own interface.
  • Nothing is ever deleted. The strongest action available is a pause.
  • No approval token carries over to a different plan. One unit of difference voids it.
  • Your figures are read at the moment you ask and passed straight through. There is no database of your campaigns, your spend or your conversions on our side.

Setting it up

Sign in with the Facebook account that has access, pick which ad accounts are in scope, paste the address into your assistant. You will need a Facebook page associated with the account for anything that creates ads — Meta requires it, not us.

Common questions

Does it cover both Facebook and Instagram?

Yes. They are one ad account with a placement setting, and both are read and reported together, with a breakdown available whenever you ask for one.

Can it see my pixel and conversions API data?

It reads the conversion events attributed to your ads as Meta reports them. It does not have access to your raw pixel stream or to your server-side events outside that attribution.

Will it touch my creatives?

It can pause an ad and it can build new ones for you to approve. It never edits a live creative in place, and it never deletes one.
